São Paulo, November 2025 – During COP30, the UN Global Compact Network Brazil launched two key deliverables aimed at advancing sustainable practices in agribusiness: the Guide to Accessing Financing for Regenerative Practices and the Action Platforms for Agriculture and Forests Positioning Document. The agenda was led by Hugo Ricardo, Manager of Agriculture and Forests Platforms, bringing together companies from different links in the agribusiness chain.
The positioning document consolidates proposals and commitments made by companies to guide actions in regenerative agriculture and the transformation of food systems. Hugo Ricardo emphasized: “The commitment is to roll out these actions in the coming years to drive the transformation of food systems, making them more sustainable and integrated with climate and biodiversity agendas.”
The Guide to Accessing Financing for Regenerative Practices was developed to facilitate understanding of available credit lines, connecting rural producers with financing for low-carbon practices. The results of the Movimento Impacto Amazônia were also presented, focusing on bioeconomy initiatives and local development in the region.
With these launches, the Pact reinforces the private sector’s role in adopting more sustainable production practices and advancing the climate agenda in the country.
